On Friday May 19, 2023, the Ahepa Maritime Chapter HJ-45 St' Nicholas during its annual General Assembly,at the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (E.V.E.P.), unanimously highlighted its new Board of Directors, as well as its new Audit Committee.
The new five-member Board of Directors of Ahepa Maritime Chapter HJ-45 St' Nicholas was constituted as follows:
1. President: Matthaiou Dimitrios
2. Vice President: Politis Dionysios
3. General Secretary: Tzanetis Georgios
4. Treasurer: Michael Leoutsakos
5. Member : Gavalas Panagiotis
Also, the new three-member Audit Committee will be made up of the following brothers:
1. Kalokairinos Antonios, Chairman of the Audit Committee
2. Damigos Ilias, member of the Audit Committee
3. Mimikos James, member of the Audit Committee
Before the start of the election process, the President of the Maritime Chapter, Dimitrios Matthaiou, after referring to the great charitable actions of the Maritime Chapter from the day of its Foundation 2 years ago until today, focused on its new emblematic project, the club "St' Nicholas Business club" and the "AHEPA shop" which will be co-located with the new offices of the Maritime Chapter in a renovated neoclassical building in the area of Piraeus.
This project is expected to be completed at the beginning of June and with its completion, the inauguration will take place in a grand ceremony.
The President also made special reference to the establishment of the new Maritime Museum, the "Ahepa Maritime Chapter St' Nicholas", the exhibits of which have already been collected and the appropriate space that will host them remains available.
At the end of the election process, the President, who was solemnly re-elected, addressed the brothers and said:
"Dear brothers, thank you very much for once again entrusting me with the helm of the AHEPA Maritime Chapter HJ-45 St' Nicholas so that we can continue to sail together in the seas of values, culture and social contribution! Let's continue together the great journey of giving and social solidarity on the strong ship of our maritime Chapter, which has already given all of us a wealth of experiences, charitable actions and moral satisfaction.
We are all fellow travelers on this great and successful journey. Successes are the fruit of our collective effort. It is interest on your response to the coordination and the proposals submitted for action. That is why I feel the need to sincerely and individually thank each of you my Brothers for your trust in me, supporting the very important actions that we carried out with our Chapter. All this was a real feat!
In our journey, which has just begun, I call upon you again, as members of a great global Organization, to continue creatively with synergies of love and respect for our fellow man and to remain committed to the consolidation of solidarity, ethical cooperation and charity.
With our Maritime Chapter as a "long-lasting ship", with our values as the navigator of our common course, with a unique orientation of the offer and our flagship social, family and individual excellence, let's start again together!
