President’s thank you message

Sunny days follow as a sign of the brilliant and successful Christmas event of AHEPA Maritime Chapter HJ-45 St. Nicholas, to which you all contributed without exception.

The 650 people who gathered in the ballroom of the Athenaeum InterContinental - despite of time and health pressures, our 130 new members who now belong to the great family of AHEPA, our

sponsors, our Minister of Shipping and Island Policy Mr. Ioannis Plakiotakis, the Chief of the Hellenic Fire Brigade Lieutenant General Stefanos Kolokouris, distinguished representatives from the fields

of shipping, health, politics, education, sports, business, tourism, our brothers, our families, our friends, people with concerns, sensitivities and willingness to offer and participate in the charitable

and social work of our organization.

On behalf of the Board, I congratulate you for your entry into the elite of altruism and spirit where you can create, evolve and leave a better world. The light that shines within you from now on will

"excel" and will become the beacon for good actions, teamwork, kindness, generosity, offer and love. This is, after all, our main mission. I am personally very proud of each one of you individually

and the values that AHEPA stands for, but also for all that we have achieved together in these 6 months of our common course.

I look forward to our next actions, as the tendency is solely an upward and multiplying one. I am happy that our Christmas gala had quality, level and humanity. I am excited by the many messages

and phone calls I receive during the days following the event, your positive and optimistic response and your warm embrace to this call.

I wholeheartedly wish you happy holidays, with health, happiness, serenity and contemplation, and next year will undoubtedly be OUR year.

The best is yet to come!

The President
Dimitris Mattheou
